Mr. Azod began his career in patent law at one of the oldest and most prestigious European patent firms, Hoffmann Eitle. Mr. Azod worked in Munich under the supervision of European partners concentrating in the chemical arts. Mr. Azod has gained international patent experience prosecuting applications and his current practice is directed to the representation of patent, trademark and copyright matters. He is passionate about start-up companies and their unique needs. Mr. Azod helps clients develop national and international intellectual property strategies.

Mr. Azod’s experience includes patents in the chemical, catalyst, genetic, medical device, pharmaceutical and petrochemical arts. Mr. Azod is an author of a peer-reviewed scientific article in the Journal of American Chemical Society in the area of photooxidation. While Mr. Azod lived in Munich, he was a member of the Munich bar association, admitted as a foreign legal specialist. Mr. Azod has native fluency in German.
